Welcome to Victory

We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It is our privilege to serve the people of central Oregon. At Victory Baptist Church we believe that God’s Word provides the only solid foundation on which to build your life.  Our desire is to help you and your family experience the joy and blessings of the Christian life.

Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them and others.  We believe that what our nation and communities need is a return to  authentic Christianity!  A faith that leaves us as it found us is of little worth on earth or in eternity.  We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. Our ministries, from the nursery to the senior saints, is designed to teach the whole Bible to the whole family!

We sincerely hope you will visit us soon!

What can I expect?

You can’t miss our church at the base of Pilot Butte on Highway 20. As you enter the building you will be greeted by one of our friendly ushers who will direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.

Most visitors attend one worship service at 11:00am where they enjoy a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Peil. This service is a little over one hour in length.

Where do I take my children?

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and well staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Victory Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Victory Baptist!

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don’t invite you to Victory Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a blessing to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What’s the music like?
Our services follow what many call a “traditional” style of worship. We sing soul-stirring hymns of the faith that reinforce the truths of God as revealed in the Bible. Our choir and special music department will generally present several songs designed to draw the congregation to worship the Lord.
